Stanadyne Performance Formula is a premium, all-season, and all-purpose diesel fuel additive designed to tackle virtually any diesel fuel-related problem. This additive is formulated to protect your diesel engine and restore its performance.

The detergency and cetane improver in Performance Formula will help restore fuel economy, increase horsepower and torque. Firstly, the detergents clean deposits in the injection system, resulting in improved combustion, better acceleration, power, and torque, thereby restoring and increasing horsepower.

Secondly, independent tests have shown an average of 4 percent improvement in MPG and gains up to 9.6 percent, reducing fuel consumption. The cetane improver in the additive enhances combustion, leading to better engine starting, smooth running, and reduced engine noise.

Thirdly, the additive meets all engine fuel system requirements and will not harm exhaust aftertreatment systems. It also reduces smoke and particulates, lowering emissions.

Fourthly, the detergents and deposit modifiers in the additive help protect injection pumps, injectors, nozzles, and other critical fuel system components, keeping them clean and protected. The lubricity improvers restore lubricity to ultra-low sulfur and other low-lubricity diesel fuels, reducing wear.

Fifthly, the additive stabilizes the fuel, keeping it fresher and protecting against the formation of gums caused by oxidation. It also improves the diesel pour point by up to 40 degrees Fahrenheit (22 degrees Celsius) and the cold filter plug point by up to 25 degrees Fahrenheit (13 degrees Celsius), providing cold weather protection.

Sixthly, the corrosion inhibitors in the additive protect the fuel system from rust and corrosion. The special demulsifiers in the additive cause tiny water droplets to come out of suspension/emulsion, allowing the filter/separator to more effectively remove water.

Lastly, the additive contains no alcohol, avoiding corrosion and accelerated wear. It is specially formulated for use with ultra-low sulfur diesel fuel and can be used with biodiesel fuel up to B20 (20 percent bio content approved), with increased water separation shown in bio content up to B20.
