The Shower Cartridge, part number RP46074, is a single-handle function repair kit designed for all single-handle 13/14 series bathtub/shower faucets. It is NOT compatible with the 1300/1400 series.

The RP46074 valve cartridge assembly can be used for various single-handle function repair kits, including (but not limited to) the R10000, R1100, R1800, and R2200 rough-in models. This universal valve cartridge is made with high-quality brass and durable plastic, ensuring a sturdy and non-deformable construction.

The Shower Cartridge features a pressure balance design that helps control the water temperature within a safe range of ±3.6°F (±2°C). This feature protects users from sudden changes in hot and cold water pressure, preventing the "cold water surprise" during showers.

Warm Tips:

• The RP46074 cartridge is compatible with Delta series 13/14 faucets, but NOT with the 1300/1400 series.
• Before installation, ensure the water valve is closed to avoid leaks or a lack of hot water.
• Clean the area around the old cartridge before installing the new one to prevent any contaminants.
• Install the new cartridge according to the hot side indicated on the valve body, and make sure it is seated all the way in the slot.
• After installation, adjust the rotational limit stop to the cold side to avoid burns when the handle is turned to the hot side.
